At Animal Chiropractic Education Source, we love celebrating our students—especially when they take bold, fast action to create the practice they’ve always dreamed of. Today, I’m thrilled to be joined by one of our newest graduates, Dr. Kate Ambborski. She’s officially wrapping up her training this weekend, and let me tell you—she’s powered through this program with purpose and passion.

Dr. Amy: Kate, thank you for being here. You really dove into the program headfirst. What has this journey been like for you?

Dr. Kate Ambborski: I’m honestly just overwhelmed with gratitude. I’ve met so many amazing people through this program—not just in class, but thanks to the connections you've shared with me. You've introduced me to veterinarians and animal chiropractors in the Denver area and even some really helpful contacts in Arizona. It made the whole process move so much faster and smoother.

Dr. Amy: You’ve definitely moved fast—finishing the program in just three months while working full time! That’s impressive.

Dr. Kate: It really came down to the support and community. Those connections gave me the confidence to start integrating animals into my existing human practice. Some of them have already been sending me referrals, and everyone has just been so generous with their help and advice.

Dr. Amy: That’s what we love to hear. Community is everything. Would you say that sense of connection has been stronger here than in other parts of your professional journey?

Dr. Kate: Absolutely. It’s kind of wild to say, but I feel like I’ve built more genuine, long-lasting relationships in this program than I did in my entire four years of chiropractic school. There’s a tight-knit feel here. Everyone is cheering each other on.

Dr. Amy: I remember you sharing a story about how one of your classmates inspired you to see what’s truly possible for your own practice.

Dr. Kate: Yeah, that was a really powerful moment. We all come into this program with different stories and reasons for adding animal chiropractic to our careers. Seeing another student who was still mid-program already making big moves—that lit a fire under me. It made me realize we really do have all the tools we need to succeed, and we can be confident in what we’re doing because we’ve all been trained the same way.

Dr. Amy: And that confidence comes from repetition, right? Immersing yourself in the work until it becomes second nature?

Dr. Kate: Exactly. By the end of today, I think most of us felt like, “Okay—we’ve done this enough!” And that’s a great feeling. Going into our practicals tomorrow, there aren’t any lingering doubts. We know the material, and we’re ready.

Dr. Amy: Do you have any idea how many animals you adjusted today?

Dr. Kate: Between the horses, puppies, and adult dogs—I’d guess close to 10.

Dr. Amy: That’s amazing! A full day, for sure. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Kate.
