After working with people for 35 years, I decided that adding animal chiropractic to my resume would be a challenge and a benefit to animals.
I have been able to guide many animals to health by avoiding surgeries, eating better, exercising more wisely and use chiropractic as part of their health care program.
My biggest win: A cervical whiplash can produce loss of the lower limb function. I have been able to identify a cervical whiplash by taking a thorough history and instill the importance of four chiropractic adjustments within two weeks to help with our differential diagnosis.
My favorite animals to adjust are dogs, first, because they are smaller and can be seen in an office. Horses, second, because of the distance and time needed to see them. Third are cats, because they can scare me.
Animal Chiropractic is primary health care for animals. It is a drugless profession. By keeping the nervous sytem flowing with energy, their bodies have the tools necessary to get better and to stay healthy.
